Free Fire takes place on a desert island. Just like in PUBG. Players must jump out of a plane which is flying over the desert island, 50 players who have parachuted out of the plane must then find weapons and equipment fast so they are ready to do battle against each other. The goal of the game is simple, be the last survivor!
Free Fire is also a FPS Battle Royale game like PUBG but has slightly more of a cartoon style, perhaps due to being developed on an older game engine. While the graphics may be lacking and even unappealing, this allows the game to run smoothly on even low spec mobile phones, giving more people a chance to play the game.
Combat in this game is punishing, with each weapon having its own recoil pattern. So perfectionists may take extra time learning each gun’s pattern. But if you are a lover of battle royale mobile games, and have a lower spec mobile phone, then this game will be your best choice.
